They Keep You Broke is a media and education brand operated by Darkhorse Traders LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains the information we may collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
- Email address and optional first name when you join the list.
- Name, email address, purchase, and transaction information needed to process and support a digital-product order. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe rather than stored by us.
- Messages, replies, survey answers, stories, and support requests you send us.
- Business contact information submitted for partnerships or sponsorships.
Information entered in customer tools
The Whole Deal Kit, 30-Day Pressure Reset, and Life Under Pressure OS are designed to store case answers, notes, and progress locally in the purchaser's browser. Those entries are not submitted to They Keep You Broke, Kit, Stripe, or Google Analytics. A purchaser may voluntarily export a backup file to their own device. Clearing browser storage or changing devices can remove locally stored entries.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting, security, analytics, and email providers may receive standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referral page, pages visited, approximate location, timestamps, form activity, and email delivery or engagement events.
How we use information
- Deliver the free Life Under Pressure Kit and requested resources.
- Process, deliver, support, and account for paid digital-product orders.
- Send one regular weekly investigation and action, purchase-specific onboarding, plus necessary educational or service emails.
- Understand which systems the audience wants investigated.
- Respond to messages, operate the site, prevent abuse, and improve performance.
- Meet legal, security, accounting, and compliance obligations.
Service providers
We may use service providers such as Cloudflare for hosting and security, Kit for forms and email delivery, Stripe for payment processing, and Google Analytics for consent-based measurement. Providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. We may add limited analytics or operational providers as the project grows.
Sale and targeted advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. At launch, we do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, this policy and any legally required choices will be updated before the new use begins.
Cookies and similar technology
The basic site may use essential storage or security technology. Optional Google Analytics is not loaded until a visitor chooses to allow analytics, and that choice can be changed from the footer. Embedded forms, video players, analytics, or other third-party features may set cookies or similar identifiers. Browser settings can also limit cookies, although some features may stop working.
Retention
We keep list information while you remain subscribed and retain operational records as reasonably needed for security, compliance, disputes, and legitimate business purposes. We may retain unsubscribed email addresses on a suppression list so we do not send unwanted email.
Your choices
Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. You may also request access, correction, or deletion by emailing privacy@theykeepyoubroke.com. We may need to verify the request and may retain information where law or security requires it.
Children
The email list and downloadable kit are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information.
Security and international processing
No online system is completely secure. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations used by our service providers, subject to applicable safeguards.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site, providers, or law changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
